HITECH make Hybrid Gland Packings are a blend of two or more high performance yarns. These are special combination packings, which are constructed in numerous forms by changing the braiding pattern. This type of gland packing integrates the unique properties of individual yarns to finally produce a special packing with its own distinct set of characteristics.

Special Combination Packing With Aramid & PTFE Yarns is duplex braided from pure Aramid fibers in the corners with lubricated pure PTFE fibers at the running surface. The tough PTFE impregnated Aramid fibers ensure corner safety & dimensional stability, allowing the packing to be used at very high-pressure conditions. The PTFE fibers yarns at the base provide excellent chemical resistance, low coefficient of friction and virtually eliminates shaft scoring. This packing is non-toxic and is ideal for food & pharmaceutical industries.

A unique High-Temperature Special Combination Packing made from Expanded Pure Graphite Yarns in the faces with a carbon yarn core and high-grade Structural Carbon corners, in interlock braid. This packing is one of the most versatile one in the industry and is incorporated with sacrificial corrosion inhibitors to prevent pitting. The carbon corners provide excellent mechanical strength and extrusion resistance to the packing.
This packing can also be made available with a core of Pure Expanded Graphite Yarn instead of Carbon Yarn Core for more resiliency and cost effectiveness.
