HITECH make Aramid/Kevlar Gland Packings are manufactured from pure Aramid fiber sourced from one of the prominent manufacturers of the world. The high strength and rigidity of the Aramid fibre make the packing well suited for high pressure sealing applications. Moreover, the packing is compatible with a wide variety of chemicals and has a very low rate of thermal expansion making them suitable for high-temperature applications. These packings are widely used in pumps handling abrasive media.

The packing is interlocked braided from Pure Aramid Filament with Yarn Packings an impregnation of break-in lubricant & incorporating special Fluoropolymer based dispersion for a high degree of resiliency. This packing has very high strength & tenacity with an exceptional resistance to abrasive media. It is safe to be used in food & pharmaceutical industry.
Service Media & Applications: Extremely suitable for pumps and agitators handling sludge & sewerage in Water Treatment and ETP plants. A new generation Aramid Staple Fiber packing in duplex braided form impregnated with PTFE and break-in lubricant. It further incorporates special run-in lubricant on the surface to make it anti-frictional. The packing shows superb resistance to abrasion and does not harm the parent equipment. In spite of its high tenacity, it can also be used for soft shaft/sleeve without any fear of damaging the same.

Special Carbonaceous Aramid Packing is manufactured from Pure Aramid yarn intimately coated with custom made Graphite based lubricant to ensure low friction and minimum shaft wear. The high tenacity of Aramid fiber works in tandem with the heat dissipation property of integral Carbon resulting in a packing which shows excellent wear & oxidation resistance. This packing is not suitable to be used in food & pharmaceutical industry.
